I returned from Japan in March 2013 after a sabbatical at LIMMS a joint Lab between the CNRS and the University of Tokyo. In the teams of Prof D. Collard and Pr. Teruo Fujii I developped Silicon Nano Tweezers and microfluidics
Isothermal calorimetry is a thermodynamic method to investigate the binding of molecules with each others. It is based on highly sensitive thermopiles and very stable temperature regulations.
Microfluidics allows to handle very little quantities of liquids. It is particularly interesting to use it to study very expensive materials such as proteins or dna.
