Previous PhD students / Post-docs:

I supervised two PhD students in the past, in collaboration with other permanent researchers. Dr. Sylvie Duhot started her thesis at a time where most interest was in Cooper pair splitting in normal metal-superconductor-normal metal structures, and she made a pionner work in which she investigated higher-order tunneling processes. Dr. Sylvie Duhot is now developping softwares in a private compagny. Those softwares are used in the construction of airplanes.

During her PhD thesis, Dr. Martina Flöser collaborated also with Dr. Serge Florens and Dr. Thierry Champel on the quantum Hall effect. Concerning her research with me and with Dr. Denis Feinberg, she essentially pursued the work started by Dr. Sylvie Duhot. Using the scattering approach, she brought the final anwser to the question of the noise cross-correlations in a three-terminal normal metal-superconductor-normal metal structure. As a consequence of her calculations, Dr. Martina Flöser demonstrated that highly transparent interfaces should not be used to produce split electron pairs in a normal metal-superconductor-normal metal structure. Previously, she obtained with Dr. Axel Freyn and myself the first evidence for quartet-like processes. Dr. Martina Flöser made a post-doc in biophysics (optimization of pulses for high-field magnetic resonance imaging) and now she is working for an insurance compagny.

Dr. Axel Freyn spent a three-year post-doc in our group, working part time with myself, Dr. Denis Feinberg, and Dr. Benoit Douçot, and part time with Dr. Serge Florens. Dr. Axel Freyn is now working for a famous internet compagny.

Gaston Hornecker made his Master1 internship with me during year 2011/2012, coming from Grenoble University. He is now finishing his PhD thesis under supervision of Dr. Alexia Auffèves at Institut Néel.

Moise Sotto made his Master2 thesis with me during academic year 2014/2015, coming from Pierre and Marie-Curie University (Jussieu). He is now a PhD student in Southhampton University (UK).

Tobias Busse, coming from Berlin, made his Bachelor internship with me during academic year 2016/2017.

Etienne Blanco, coming from Grenoble University, made his Master 1 intership with me in the same period. He has now started a PhD thesis in high energy physics.

Theo Silvestre made a L1 "Excellence Internship" with me during academic year 2016/2017. He is now in L2, continuing on topology during his free time.
