- Solid state physics at ultra low temperatures (down to 100 µK): quantum fluids and solids in reduced dimensionality, Fermi liquids, frustrated magnetism, spin liquid.
-Mesoscopic physics: quantum transport, phase coherence phenomena at very low temperature, persistent currents, Kondo effect in artificial nanostructures, single electron electonics, electron transport assited by surface acoustic waves
