  • April 2022: Guilliam's paper about the realization of a gate-tunable graphene based Josephson parametric amplifier is available on arxiv. It has been a huge effort! Congrats to everyone and especially to Guilliam! The teams of Prof. Deshmukh and Prof. Vijay in TIFR, Mumbaï also reported a similar achievement. You can read their work there.

  • December 2018: Welcome to Enzo Kloß who starts his PhD this month. He will focus on the optical properties of 2D TMDCs. We will work in close collaboration with the group of Maxime Richard.

  • October 2018: Welcome back to Guilliam who starts his PhD. He will work on graphene superconducting microwave quantum circuits.

  • September 2018: Welcome to Kazi Rafsanjani who has joined our group as a Posdtoc. His work will aim at coupling a CMOS-compatible NEMS to a superconducting microwave cavity. We will work in close collaboration with our colleagues at CEA-Leti.

  • June 2018: Congratulations to Guilliam for obtaining a PhD grant in a very competitive process in grad school! He will start his PhD in October!

  • July 2017: Congratulations to Otavio for the successful defense of his master thesis. We have managed to fabricate the first generation of the graphmon (graphene based superconducting quantum bit) thanks to his work. First measurements coming soon!

  • February 2017: Welcome to Otavio Dantas Molitor who will start his master project on the development of a graphene based superconducting quantum bit.

  • January 2017: Pauline's abstract about the development of a superconductor on a flexible substrate was selected for an oral contribution at the graphene 2017 conference (http://www.grapheneconf.com/2017/index.php). Congratulations Pauline!

  • August 2016: first measurements of our superconducting Niobium resonators. Just some quick tests at 4K for now but soon in the Sionludi!

  • June 2016: first cool down with our Sionludi! Some thermometry issues to solve but we should soon be at (and measure!) 20mK in our system! Exciting!

  • June 2016: I was happy to attend the graphene week conference. Nice to get some updates of the latest research on graphene and TMDC.
